
I just attended my 3rd Burning Man Festival, that unfathomably imaginative celebration of human expression and creativity that takes place on the vast, flat surface of a parched northern Nevada desert lakebed every August.
Burning Man always gives me just the medicine I need. And sometimes it’s pretty damn bitter. This year, I deepened in one particularly painful lesson I’m obviously still learning, a subject I even blogged about recently and will again soon (Follow Your Hell Yes!) … but I’m human, too, and therefore as susceptible to acting out my own insanity as anyone.
Anyway, since I blogged about my first Burning Man experience in 2010, I just want to share a few of the deliciously surreal pictures I took this year:
